What are your interests and hobbies?
I love cooking (I’m a big carnivore!), and I enjoy anything outdoors: hiking, mountain biking, fishing.  When not cooking or playing outdoors, I enjoy spending time with my seminarian brothers.

Who is your favorite saint and why?
My confirmation patron:  St. Maximilian Kolbe.  As someone who has a vocation to the priesthood, I love that he gave his life for others.

When did you first start thinking about being a priest? What made you move forward to pursue this vocation?
I first thought about becoming a priest when I was 19. I was at a Chrism Mass and watching the priests go up to the Altar made me consider what I was doing with my life. I began meeting with various priests and realized that I was called to something greater than the life I was living.

What do you look forward to most about being a priest?
I think that what I look forward to most is helping people in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  The Sacrament offers healing, forgiveness, and helps bring people back to the Faith.

What advice would you give to other guys who are discerning the priesthood?
One bit of advice I would give is to pray and be open and honest with their feelings and who they are. Just be open to God’s call.
